Every Friday night through the summer months, downtown Downers Grove hosts a car show from 6-9pm. This week happens to be import night, and I think there would be nothing better than to show the world what a true import is. There is one street that gets judged for prizes, Curtis Street. Anyone who feels that they have a shot, please feel free to park on that street, event registration is free to my knowledge, although I can check and get back to everyone. All other streets in the downtown area are open to the public for car show parking. The show starts at 6, but it is very crowded and spaces fill up fast. I am requesting that everyone try to be there by 4-5 at the latest to make sure we can get parking all down the main street together. There are plenty of bars/restraunts/street vendors that we can go to for food, or as Daryl suggested, we can grill out in the park just off the Main Street too. The more people that turn out to this event, the cooler it will be for the public. Typically there are anywhere from Ferrari's that show, to a single turbo converted Supra. The list is endless, lets add to it! i'll post more details as it gets closer, but this is a public event, not just 3s's so we have a rare opportunity! Lets make it EPIC!
