Checking & adjustin the Valve timming????For someone whose done it before

Can you check the valve timming on your cams(intake and exhaust) when the sprokets are taken off.

I just can't believe the shop that assembly my motor mix up the front bank intake sproket and the rear bank intake sproket.Me and VR4_Owner will try to fix that on saturday and sunday.I will check the valve timming too.

So any input or advise on how to do check and adjust w/o messing up or bending valves???
