Is there any way to make the ECS on a '91 VR4 start in sport mode when you turn on the car? For some reason it always go back to tour mode, even when I shut off the car in sport mode.

You know I have thought about that for the longest time.....good question that I don't believe has ever been discussed.....why don't you try it out.

You could always get something to pulse that wiring every time the ignition is turned on. It' be a reasonably easy project but if you make a mistake you could fry the computer.

Since your car is a 91, there is a very good chance that your shocks are worn out anyway. Replace them and you'll probably find that the "tour" mode is actually more sporty than you think.
