I even waited for it to completley cool down and it stiil read the same. way above the h. I changed my thermostat a while bac, like 2 weeks ago or so. I don't think it's it because the cars not getting hot its only saying that it is. Is it a sensor?

ask...

Ask McVicker if you get a chance. I think he had the same thing. I think he took it to a Mitsu dealer and they told him a hose/tube or something was being pinched and thats why the reading was wrong. I think McVicker said they were gonna charge him like $200 to fix it so he didnt even bother with it for that price.

water pump?....
or it could be thermalstat went bad again....
if not then your radiator is clog..... there's not much to a water cooling system....Thermalstat and water pump are the two biggest concern...

Check the temp sending wire for a short. If it's grounded somewhere the gauge will read full hot.

Either the gauge is dead or the sending wire is grounded.
