Not pretty but more than likely ok for a daily driver if you remove every bit of that rust. Loose rust will eventually come off and move through the engine. If it stays on the roller -cam lobe surface the flakes will pit the roller wheel.
Best would be a hot tank soak at the local machine shop. Cheap way out is a wire wheel on a bench grinder but not on the cam lobe-roller surface, there I would use a maroon scotch bite by hand with some WD 40 until it’s polished.
