This is very important to me - I can't "see" my brakes so I don't know they've blown & I'm worried/frustrated. I found my brake fuse had blown again! (15A fuse in the interior fuse box).

Should I put a 20A or 25A fuse in there? The first time it blew, the heat was bad enough to melt some plastic around the contacts. Now it blows once in a while for seemingly no reason at all. I don't want to be rear-ended. I also don't want to ruin the reason a fuse is there by putting too high an ampere fuse in.

Are bad fuses (cheap ones from Walmart) the possible cause? Has anyone else had this problem ??

That is strange. Maybe an electrical shortage? I think putting a higher fuse in will bandage the problem, but I think you need to get it checked out.
