I know some owners mentioned engine flush before, but I never understood what it was and never paid attention to it.. I always thought it was something u buy at Pepboys and do-it-youself at home..

I was at a local garage yesterday and saw this engine flush machine.. heres how it describe it works:

1. Heated R-2000 Solution is pumped through oil filter port at 42 psi.

2. R-2000 solution flows through the engine's lube system and dissolves sludge and varnish.

3. Dissolved sludge, varnish and debris flow to the engine pan where it is vacuum extracted to the Bilstein R-2000 Engine Flush machine.

Sounds pretty interesting to me.. anyone wana comment?? I didnt ask for the price of this procedure.. anyone have an idea how much it would cost??

I like the sound of it. It probably would be a good idea every 30,000 miles or so as long as they don't use anything that would harm your bearings or seals. Does it fill the pan also? How about the lifter guides. I would be interested in some literature and how much it cost and where I can have it done..
