Hi, I've been putting off getting the 60k service done for the longest. Im at about 85,000 miles now and my 99 SL is burning oil for some reason (white smoke at red lights and such). Plus the check engine light is showing an error code for throttle position sensor i think. I know libertyville mitsu has been mentioned for doing good work, but im wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any other capable mechanic or dealership in the n/w burbs area. Thanks

I've heard that 440 4x4 is pretty experienced with these cars. He's just over the WI border. Maddog is another good option. Don't go to the dealership - they charge significantly more, and don't specialize in these cars.
