Brian - no they usually aren't stamped with the size. Take one to a machine shop and have them micrometer it to tell you the size (I'll be stock). Or you could micrometer the bores (usually how it is done).

The stock bore is 91MM. But depending on which pistons you buy, you havta know the clearances before you bore.

My Ross's need a .0006 thousandnths clearance.

You know the Mitsu Engine Overhaul Manual is available for FREE on the internet courtesy of Vinny Singh.

Pokey,
Do you mean 0.006"? Less than 0.001" is very rare (and unsual) for forged pistons. The stocker cast pistons want like 0.0008 - 0.0016". My venolia want 0.005". Also, stock bore is 91.1 mm (3.587") - according to the overhaul manual.
