Title says it.. Anyone use them or have good experience with any specific brands? Or are they a waste of time.

I have a 2 car garage and my car is currently on regular stands but I'm running into space issues and looking to see if these are worth getting. I'm assuming I can move the car around the garage while it's getting worked on over extended periods of time and out of the way when not.

I have a set similar to these:

Steel Car Wheel Dolly Tire Skates | Discount Ramps

They work okay if your floor is fairly clean and smooth. Effort to move a car around isn't too bad once you get it rolling. The drawback is that you need to have wheels on the car to use the dollies. Other than that, they get the job done for not much money.

I have used these from harbor freight https://www.harborfreight.com/2-piece-1500-lb-capacity-vehicle-dollies-67338.html and to be honest they suck. If your floor isnt smooth as glass and you run into a crack the ones I have used have a tendency to come out from under the tire. If your just going to use them a couple times a year and you just want to push the car tight up against a wall they work ok for that. The ones I bought were like the ones in in the link above.

You might have better luck with the other set where its scooped out and rounded.

For a few buck more I would get these https://www.harborfreight.com/1250-lb-Capacity-Vehicle-Positioning-Wheel-Dolly-61917.html my buddy has a set of 4 and they work pretty good compared to the original GO JACK brand for substantially less.

We use go jacks from AW Direct at my job. That's what I carry on my truck.

I have a set of 4 Harbor Freight car dollies that I use.

Very affordable and work fine for my needs. Haven't had any wheels pop out yet or anything. Just remember like most of the casters from HF, you need to grease the bearings on them yourself if you want them to be nice and smooth.
