Go to your fuse panel under the dash. Turn off the car, and take key out of switch. Get a test light (if you don't have one about $2 at any auto store), hook clip up to a good ground (exposed metal nut or bolt) and touch ends of fuses until tester lights. Then you can run a fuse tap off of the fuse (also at store) which leaves a male connection sticking out of fuse end allowing you to hook a female terminal to. I know your courtesy (interior) light fuse is hot at all times, and I use the radio fuse to tap off of for accessory power source.

PS- I hooked one up in my car, you may find it creates some problems with your factory security system after install.
