I'm wiring in a remote lock system from JC whitney, and I need a constant hot lead that is easy to find and tap into. Any ideas? Even the cig. lighter seems to be switched.

Thanks for the advice Steve. i got the fuse tap from Radio shack (never even knew these things existed). I see what you mean about the alarm problem. The keyless entry works fine, and the alarm works fine, the onyl thing is when you unlock with the remote, it doesn't de-activate the alarm, so you have to put the key in the door anyway! Any ideas? There is a button on the remote for a rear hatch unlock. Could this be wired into the alarm switch at the keyhole? What is the wiring like at the doorswitch?
