I've got my AEM EMS up and running pretty well on a speed-density setup now, which means it's time to get rid of my MAS.

After a quick search, it looks like the Altered Atmosphere intake at like $400 is the only game in town. All you guys running VPCs - what did you use to remove the MAS? Did you buy some expensive (AAM, HKS) intake kit? Did anybody find a filter that fit well into the hole the MAS used to fill?

couldn't you stick the filters right on the end of the turbos?

DN Performance offers metal intake pipes for just this situation for about $300 / pr.

I've rigged a generic K&N and a drain pipe adapter but it keeps coming off. I'll be buying the DN setup soon.
