Does anyone have a good aftermarket clutch that they would recomend for a non-turbo, or is the stock clutch the best to go with?
Thanks,

Unless you have a lot of mods on your car and are putting out a ton of ponies, I'd say stick with the stock clutch. The trannies are delicate even in the non turbos, and an aftermarket clutch will only help you ruin it faster. I had a centerforce dual friction in my Stealth R/T NA and after about 5 months my tranny died. Not saying it's totally the clutches fault, but I'm sure the extra grabbing power didn't help much! I had a stock setup put in after the rebuild and the car is like new. Hope this helps
I understand that exedy clutches are used in japan pretty much especially by signal, Japan. so that's a thought since they don't make it for vr4s..it's only for base and sls...take care!
