I have a SARD universal blow off valve and am getting a little compressor surge when letting off the gas under low boost. I want to lower the spring pressure a little but am confused about which way to adjust the nut.

You can see the nut to adjust the spring pressure at the top. I assume that tightening the nut will increase spring pressure, while loosining it will decrease spring pressure, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask before I play with it.
