A first Gen VR4 with no active aero and 16" rims??

Never seen it before.

Walk up to it and see if the active aero switch is there.

its quite easy too check. either look to see if he has all the nice switches if not then it isnt ......or just look under it to see if it has awd.....

Exuse my ignorance but if the wing isnt' active aero, there is no need to look, right??

Actually the 16" second gen SL wheels (the 7-spoke ones) DO fit on first gen VR4's. I've seen it a couple times. My guess is that they are a lighter wheel and can help the car go faster.

Yes, but don't all VR4's have the active aero wing?? The 16's are the 5 fat-spoke dull looking rims. Like the ones on Yogarts car that he just had redone.

Perhaps his wing faded, broke or was replaced for some other reason...? Could be a possibility. Do the sail panels say "Twin Turbo"?

If it's fake, tear off the VR-4 badge and leave it on his windshield WITH the note.

I think that might be a little obvious since I was on his ass on the way in the deck today. If any of you guys in Charlotte see it it's red with a single tip.

It's almost a bad as the SL that I saw with a VTech badge next to the SL..... grrrrrrr.

IF it was GTO I would say it is possible....
I know my GTO TT came with 16" rims stock... and I have seen other GTOs with a wierd spoiler that looks a bit like the stock... but with no active aero... and it was on a TT
