Well i'm at it again, to go on Thursday at lunch, meeting in the parking lot, and going off to find some place.

Although I know I'm auto, and probably get beaten, but i think it will still be semi close... and iw as wondering what are some tips vs racing them, after reading some past threads the Auto's have been able to beat them from rolls.. ? so should i try and get a roll? or what? Any Suggestions would be great thanks!

NAAAAAAAWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSS:p ;) :D
lol besides the obvious nos
I suggest you get the snake eye mod and add another 50 horsepower to your car, then you'll smoke him :D
The 00 Type R will beat you handly.
I agree... i should... but i'm not really good with wiring... hehe i'll probably blow somthing and catch on fire and jump on the lawn roll around, catch the lawn on fire, etc.. hehehe
Well the truth of the matter is that yes you will get destroyed but atleast you will look good doing it.

If you do race him try to race him from a roll otherwise, he can obviously launch better than your ATX and he will eat your car up. Even though you will lose from a roll it wont look nearly as bad.

But dont worry about it..I have an ATX TOO.:D
for me its not who wins or looses its all about the enjoyment of the race... even if he does smoke me i can point out the fact i paid $4000 for mine and he spent 4 times that at least!

then i'll point out in a month or so i'll have a RX7 R1... and that will destroy him.. then i can point an laff...ehhee

LMAO:)
Is the Type R modded???
What mods does he have?
I was looking into buying one a couple years ago, so I know a thing or two. A roll will greatly help you unless you can launch an auto like a pro. Then you can handle a stop. It will come down to his shifting if you are both stock. I raced a modded one last night and he just about kept up with me from a 35mph roll, but when I shifted into 3rd he started to fade back. I think driver is just as important as speed of car. Good Luck and don't count yourself out just yet.

Yes..if you were both 5-speed than it would definatly be close. There are quite a few members on the board that have taken Type R's.

But he is an ATX so beating him will be unlikely unless you are heavily modded ( which your not ), have a super factory freak, or my favorite scenario: He misses his shift and bogs his launch. HEHE:D

Go them him man and tell us how it goes.;)
he's said he's stock, but i dont know how truthful he is. And whatever the outcome i'll let everyone know. i treid a few new tech's today when i was racing my friend, in his F150 HD truck, and i tried going from the low to the 2nd then to drive, but it wasn't that great, i did best from just Drive. SO thats my plan, and i was noticing that i do the best when not all the way pounding the ground, just like 4/5'ths of the way down does the best...
Whatever works for you man.

And BTW: The best method is leaving it on drive and taking overdrive off and putting the Power Switch on. Other than that we really cant do much with our autos to win. DAMN!!!!!:p
thats what i do...

AND MORE GOOD NEWS:

His type r is 100% stock. He's only had it for like 2 weeks; not very good at driving a stick yet, he's fair but not "great".

He wanted to go for money, but first of all i'm not that stupid; 2nd i'm unemployed with an expensive car :(
LMAO...that is some great luck man. He is now about 50% more likely to mess up his shifts. HAHA...thats where us autos come in and take the race. :p
After discussing with my friends; i did my weight reduction in a matter of minutes.

Spare Tire: Gone
Tires: 29lbs back, 39 front (6 lower then normal)
Heater: On Half
Windows: Closed
PWR Button: On
Overdrive: Off
Integra Type R: Not there!

The guy called me out to race; and never showed up... just pisses me off he better have a good reason! I called his friend; never answered left a message. Never called back... i sat there for 30 min!

Oh well Neo said he wanteda peice of my factory freak super car! So i get to own neo...
