Hey guys, my car just rolled up on 37,100 due to my traveling this weekend. I suppose I'm going to do my 30k service now. Should I also change the timing belt, even though I'm quite a ways from 60k? It's a 1992 VR4. (My only concern was the age of the belt)

Thanks...

I'm not sure what is needed for the 30K but if you car is going to be down for a couple of days for it you might as well get the 60K. If you have the money for the 60K you might as well get it done 'cause it won't hurt anything.

won't hurt anything besides your wallet :D

yea...true, doing the 60k service right now will do only good. but remember that these service needs to be done EVERY 60k so that mean you will have to performe the service again at 90 some K instead of 120. if you not planning on keeping the car that long it will be ethical to tell the next owner that or else the poor guy will be driving to 100k thinking he still can avoid it for another 20kmiles until he breaks down on the side of hte road
