300gt black healdlight covers

I was driving one day, and i saw the sweetest thing. Someguy had the black headlight covers, you know the black ones that they put on accords and mustangs, on his 3k. I made a u-turn to go ask him where he got them, but he was hauling ass and i couldn 't catch up. Anybody know? That would be sweet especially for 94's which are so fogged up that they look like they have blind cataracts.

I doubt it.. nobody makes those.. he either got some black vinyl and covered his lights, or painted them black..

he's talking about the factory blackouts on the R/T's

. i thought the 2nd Gens had em too, although they're not quite blackouts, they're like a smoke colour or something aren't they?
as for the original post, if it was a 1st gen 3000GT i supose it's possible that he painted the backs of his headlights black

or somehow did some type of conversion to the Stealth R/T lights (the 1st gen 3000GT's lights are different from the 1st gen Stealths right?).

These headlight covers were for a 2nd generation, but i think that website you gave me may be the right thing, do you know how much they are? Thanks

i believe it's just a kit they sell you with black or smoke colored flexible "plastic" or i believe it's called "mylar" sheets that you have to custom fit to your headlights. they probably give you some sort of 3M product to attach it once you've fitted it for you lights.

Does anyone have any pics of the GTO headlight covers? Cuz if they look good then i REALLY want em.... I got the vinyls that were on sale here on the messages boards but i found them poor, personally. They were a good idea, just poor execution. So uh anyway... about those blackouts...

Dammit! that is one fucked up company. There 800 number doesn't work, their email doesn't work, and they never pick up when i dial the local phone number. I've been trying to contact them for the past 2 days.
