164 hp for the base Stealth, which has a 3.0L V6, 12v SOHC
222 hp for the Stealth ES/RT, with the 3.0L V6, 24v DOHC
300-320 for the Stealth RT TT, which has twin turbos

The SOHC has some decent low-end torque (185 ft-lbs). That's what you feel off the line. It dies out in the upper-rpm band when it has trouble breathing due to the 12 valves and SOHC.

Hope that helps!

i think my Base DOHC 3kgt (222hp stock) feels fast but that's b/c I've never driven anything faster.

i bet if i drove a VR4, i would think low of my car.

try an ES/RT or RT TT

Isn't in 96 where they started to make the base with the sohc, I remember reading that the first gens and a few years after the only difference between the sl and the base was leather, sunroof, etc. until 96 they put the sohc w/166hp

Taipted- That applies to 3000GT's, not Stealth's.

Base model Stealths all had the 164 HP SOHC 3.0L V6.
