I also found a close up image of the aftermath, but posting that would probably be in pour taste. This poor guy man. You know, you don't wake up in the morning and think about how some douche bag is going to end your life because he is at the end of his rope. Shit like this make the world a shitty shitty place.
That is so sad. Poor innocent kid didn't have a chance. You see the smoke from the tire as he tried to brake. I wonder if it was me whether I would have tried to swerve in the one second of reaction time. You probably can't gauge the speed of a car coming at you that fast until it's almost too late.
So I have been in communication with "acrux" on SF. He's setting up a webpage to pay your respects at, and I am going to see if I can compile all the posts in respect of his life from 3Si, SF, bimmerforums, evolutionm, etc that I will get professionally bound and send to his family. I would like them to have an idea how seriously we in the car enthusiast world take something like this, and how sincere we all are about our fellow car guys.
I have a couple of questions about the intake plenum spacer. I'm thinking about getting one from 3sx this fall, and I was wondering if it came with the gaskets, or if I had to get those seperate. I was also wondering if anyone that has one noticed any power gain?
Alright today i went out and started to seperate my transmission case, got all the bolts out and it won't pull apart any ideas on why it won't come apart i have it pulled apart a lil bit there is about a inch between one side and the other side. Anyone have any suggestions?
How do you guys pass emissions with your modded 3s'?
well this is what i know or assume how they do emissions... visual inspection for all years of course, then they put a car on the dyno and put an sniffer deal on the tailpipe then you go a certain speed on a dyno. and if the vehicle 95 and up...
I have about 500 bucks to spend on my car. What would you guys suggest?
Boost controller, a pillar pods w/ gauges, drilled slotted rotors, polished plenum, engine dress kit. I already have a gt-pro fmic, down pipe and 3" borla, rebuilt engine, tranny (and turbos) clutch, new water, oil pump...
