I just bought this 1/10 Scale 1st Gen 3000GT RC Car body and its really nice.
It was only $29.90 but shipping was $23. Nice thing was I showed up in three days

It's freezing cold out, what else are you going to do? How nice is the 2nd gen kit?

I am getting ready to paint mine tonight, I noticed that the sides are really thin, it won't take much to bust them up

I prefer 2nd gen but it’s better then nothing.

I washed the interior of the body out and applied the masking templates.

First coat of paint is on.

It looks a little dull because there is a protective coating on the outside that I will peel off when I have finished painting

I do need to pick out a chassis for this. It looks like the Vintage touring class is really popular. its AWD but its for classic car bodies. I think I will get a Pontiac GTO body for racing and this body for practicing

I have a 1:10 scale that I drop a 3s Lipo brushless setup into it, it was stupid fast. I gotta get that guy back running and pick up one of these bodies for it.

Body is done!

I don't like to go too crazy painting bodies because they tend to not last long if you actually use them on a car.

I think I will get a Associated Racing Club racing TC4 body. It can be fairly competitive without getting crazy expensive. I HAVE to have a AWD chassis
