History
I am the third owner and final owner. Drove down to NJ to pick it up from member XteekayX with 88k miles in 2006. It was mostly stock and had a slipping clutch, so I got it for a steal at $14k. 5 mods later it ran a best of [email protected] on the stock turbos, and dyno'd 269hp & 290 tq @ 15psi on stock turbos. Not long after, it spun a rod bearing which prompted a forced upgrade rebuild. Many labor hours and thousands of dollars later it's a 19T'd, pretty much bullet-proof, rocket of a car. And there's plenty more to come.
(2023 Edit: It didn't feel right removing the old showcase but thought I should provide an update. So in case anyone is interested, this is still a good weather daily driver for me. Still on the same build from 2009 and have ran full boost on EVOIII Big 16G's on E85 for a few years. Gets garaged in the Winter until the first good Spring rain washes away the salt on the roads. Haven't been back to the drag strip, just haven't felt the need to find out since back in the day, but I'd guess 10'[email protected]'s can be expected for a best time.)
