I always like the 3000GT looks, but the price scared me away. One day I poked around on eBay and thought "what are GT's going for these days?" A local dealer had one up for auction with the oft mentioned rod knock. I got it for the price I wanted and could afford at the time. The knock was caused by a previous idiot not torquing the rod nuts properly. I found the nut AND the undamaged rod bolt in the oil pan when I removed it.

A correctly assembled engine! ARP rod bolts, Fidanza aluminum flywheel and Exedy clutch.

Maybe I'll make it go faster later if I get bored.

Dirt removal was the first thing it needed. Since I do carpet and upholstery cleaning, it came out very nice.

Do I need any? I LIKE the looks of the car!

I did get rid of the wing that was on the car. It weighed a ton and didnt look that great. The stock one looks better.

JVC unit took the place of the stock one when a bad rainstorm flooded the interior and killed the underseat amp. A used 10 disk CD played replaced the stock Pioneer unit and some 6x9 JBL speaker went in the back. Door speakers and stock amp elimination are next.

Bone stock! But that didnt stop me from winning the NA stock suspension class Autocross at the 2011 NG

It did get some brake maintenance and braided lines though.

Stock three spoke wheels. I LIKE 3 spokes instead of 5 or 6.
