History
I purchased this 3000GT about a year ago. The car had a severe knock in the engine. I pulled the motor to find that the #1 rod bearing had completely designated the bearing. I replaced the crank, all bearings, #1 connecting rod all new gaskets, head bolts and generation 3 lifters. I drove the car for a couple of weeks and all of a sudden there was a clunk and the oil pressure dropped and the light came on. I immediately shut the car off and coasted to the berm and towed her home. Upon inspection all bearings are tight so I can only assume it is the oil pump. It's winter and I don't have a place to work on it now. The car is for sale and if it does not sell by spring/summer then I'll work on her again. The car has 146,000 miles and average cosmetics for the age. It's no show piece but she's no piece of junk either, just average wear and tear. My cell is 740-525-2190
