I bought this car in May of '10. It was completely stock and had some minor points about it that I didn't like, but it seemed to be the car that I needed to start my project.....
1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL (Maroon/Yellow)
Where do we start?... I have a K&N cold air intake, upgraded VR-4 injectors, aftermarket heads (I haven't installed them yet), Stroker kit from http://www.3sx.com, which includes forged pistons, rings, billet rods, forged crankshaft, all bearings, and a lighter aluminum harmonic balancer. I also have a 2008 Corvette Z06 exhaust, stage 5 clutch, and an ACTUAL Hurst 5-speed transmission.
Not much has been done to the interior, besides the Hurst shifter knob, which came with the Hurst transmission I purchased.
The only exterior modifications that I have done are: The ICW rims, which disgust me, came with the vehicle when I purchased it. They were chrome, which didn't seem to go with the car at all. So, I picked something else I didn't like very much, the color yellow, and spray painted them. The hood looked like someone had painted it with a paint brush (I found 3 paint brushes in the trunk after I bought it....), so I painted it, as well.
Still has the same stock Infiniti Gold stereo system...
Still has the stock suspension with ECS.....
Wheel and Tire
I have some cheap ICW rims and some not-so-cheap Riken Raptor tires. lol
