My first 3/s. Avery long and frustrating road working up to getting this car...
1st attempt at a 3/s I was ripped off by some guy in Ohio. His name is Jason Dockrill, he owes me $1200...
Second attempt at a 3/s I was living in South Bend, IN at the time. Found a flawless black '98 SL in an Akron posting. Got the loan for it, hop in my truck to drive ~350 miles to get it. Right on the off ramp for akron (Turnpike) my fuel filter dies out on me in my '87 ford ranger. So, 30 mins later i get a tow to this guys house, only to see my beautiful car get driven out of the drive way by someone else. So after roughly $300 in gas, tolls and a tow bill I had nothing to show for it. Next day, found another one, which is my current 3/s. Test drove it, made the purchase... And i pull out of this kids driveway and the clutch won't disengage. Lovely. Anyways, roughly $3000 spent on maintaining the car, and plenty more to go. Utterly frustrating. But I love driving her.
