already got the new block, oil, water pump ..... the heads and tranny are going to rays, lifters and valve guide seals for the heads and end case, vcu and bellhousing brace for the tranny. just the 650's for now maybe next year if i am tired of the 650's ill go with the 750's. should be fun for now though. the engine i took out looks brand new, possibly rebuilt at one point. i gotta start taking more pictures of stuff, and start listing things for sale.
thats just standard base coat clear coat car paint. holds up real well, my front cover is painted also, about a year or so now and still looks good.
motor should be in by the end of the month at the latest i hope. still got some other stuff to do. i want to replace the driver side front hub and axle just because the axel is frozen in the hub. also there is something going on with the passanger side strut/spring that binds up a bit, not sure why.
the garage is a little tight right now so its not much fun working in there.
don't think its a strut bearing, i replaced both front strut mounts when i did the suspention along with new struts. but i will check that when i pull it out.
deleted the abs, new hard lines and prop valve. going to be putting my meth tank where the pump was. the low fluid sensor i think i will hook up to the door buzzer?
took my drivers side knuckle up to rays today to press the frozen axle out. well its more like welded in there, 60k press and the axlel didn't budge. the i beam was flexing but axle didn't give. so new knuckle on the way.
still faster then yours
where you been?
fixed the front suspention yesterday, front knuckle should be in this week. picked up my clutch and front hub today.
Curious why you didnt paint the other stuff...even if its black rattle can, or polish some things out?
