Ive been a member on the forum since I purchased my VR-4 as my first car, and used to be on here quite a bit. Last few years or so though I have certainly trailed off to just an occasional visitor. As I am now out of college for about a year with a solid job, I wanted to get a new car. I toyed back and forth with the idea of keeping the VR-4 but have finally decided to let her go. If anybody local is interested in the car I do have it up on craigslist - here is the link: https://post.craigslist.org/manage/1894976857/9c5ds
As for my new car, Im now driving an 09 Nissan 370Z - black with sport package. I gotta admit, I love the car, but of course the VR-4 will always hold a place in my heart haha.
Ive uploaded a photo of the Z. So far I have installed HFCs, a CBE, and CAI, as well as a few aesthetic stuff.
Thanks to all, and especially Steve and Ray at Pampena Motors. Definitely have been extremely fortunate to have such cool specialists so nearby. Guys, I still have to come by to after-dyno the Z!
But I am curious as to how much your insurance was for it?
I have two vehicles (3000GT and s10 blaZeR2) and my monthly bill is about $150-160. Just wondering if the VR4's cost more on insurance
As the VR-4 was my first car, I was on my family insurance plan so it wasnt too bad and I had help from my parents.
The quotes I got to insure the Z originally almost discouraged me from getting it entirely (the costs are all on me this time), but eventually Progressive gave me something reasonable, it kinda sucks being 23 with a sports car.
Can't believe you're getting rid of her man. That sucks!
Come down any time you're ready to get the after-dyno done bro. And good luck with selling the 3000. how much are you looking to get? We get people coming through looking to buy so we may br able to help get rid of it for you.

I know I know, it took some time to convince myself to sell the car. The truth is I really dont need it. I drive about 5 miles a day during the week, what the heck do I need 2 sports cars for!? Im also at a point in my life where Im trying to save up some money, so an extra few bucks from the sale would be great.
Ill know better by the end of the week, but Id love to come down this weekend to after-dyno, let me know if that could work.
I have the car listed for 6k on craigslist, but if somebody offered 5k flat I would make that deal on the spot. Any lower than that I have been saying thanks but no thanks so far.
Would be great if you could get me in touch with some more potential buyers. PM me if you have some ideas. Thanks Steve!
hey can u edit the craigslist or post up some details if its still for sale. itd be nice to buy one local
