It's tough to find motor oil reco threads that are less than a decade old... some are older than that. Since available products have a tendency to change quality... I am curious what people are running now?
Is Mobil1 still the black sheep?
I know this is usually a polarizing topic... but for turbo cars especially, is there anything close to a consensus? Stock to very mild build.
I've run Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W40 in both my cars for years.
Throw in a little Rislone with each change
I use either Mobil 1 or K&N filters.
Close to 200K on the Stealth and around 115K on the Spyder.
Both purr like kittens!

I'm always running a 50 weight flavor of Redline. Right now its 5w50, but I think I will switch to 15w50 when I run out of this case of the 5w50 because it seems to lose more pressure than I like when it gets hot.
