Default Best Clutch For 550whp?

Hey guys,

I'm currently putting together a 93' Stealth TT with a goal of around 550whp and I'm curious as to what you guys think is the best clutch for my build... I'm looking for a clutch that can hold this kind of power (550whp+) but has the best/"stockish" feel (not too hard to push). I'm thinking that the RPS Max Series Clutch with their Street Disc is my best bet... Let me know what clutch you guys recommend I use.

A simple rundown of the build is:
-Kinugawa 20T's
-ETS FMIC
-770cc FIC (Fuel Injector Clinic) Injectors
-Supra Fuel Pump w/ Hot-wire Kit (93 Octane)
-MAF Translator
-Stock Internals
-Aiming For 20-22 Lb's. of Boost

The act street disc will hold this and be very driveable.

It's a bit stiff but the rps is too. The spec 4 plus will hold it and have a softer pedal but will be a bit less forgiving, more grabby

you may want to get a clutch that can hold 650ft pounds... I only say this because you may get power hungry with those 20t's and room for growth isn't normally bad.

He's going to need a built lower end to go too much further and also have his heads pinned at the minimum so the whole motor will have to come out again. The RPS street max clutch will hold the extra torque. Ray runs one and makes 750awtq.

I love my Soutbend OFE Stage 4 clutch but they don't make that disc anymore. Hans had a new one for sale for $600 shipped I believe. I thought about picking it up for a spare. ACT seems to be a good one as well. I can't comment on anything else.

Thanks to those who replied. I currently have an RPS pressure plate and factory OE Mitsu disc in my 94 Stealth (19t's, laid down 540awhp on a true heartbreaker dyno) and I'm very happy with it, (both in terms of feel - pedal pressure) and grip. But as far as I know RPS doesn't offer that clutch anymore. So...I guess it sounds like ACT or Southbend??

The ACT street disc setup is very similar, I have driven both quite a bit.

You're gona need a stronger pump if you want to have those turbos deliver the boost they are capable of.

Quote:
The Denso fuel pump 195130-1020 (the Supra Turbo MKIV pump) is one of the best in-tank upgrade choices if you are using injectors up to 550 cc/min and are providing at least 13 volts to the pump. When 18 volts are supplied, the Supra pump is good for injectors up to 880 cc/min. At 13.5 supplied volts no other in-tank pump, except for the R33 Skyline GT-R and A'PEXi BNR32 fuel pumps, flows significantly more fuel up to 70 psi line pressure or 27 psi boost. It is a direct drop-in replacement; all other non-Denso choices require some modification to the fuel pump assembly. It is as quiet as the stock pump. Best of all, it can cost only $180 at Conicelli Toyota. One disadvantage of the Supra pump is its relatively heavy current draw (at 13.5 V, 16A @ 43 psi, 19A @ 70 psi) and large decrease in flow as supplied voltage lowers. Good, heavy-gauge wiring (meaning re-wiring the fuel pump electrical circuit) is a requirement to get the most out of this pump.
