Default Backfire when shifting

New symptom. My 92 VR4 with Jester ECU has started trying to backfire a little when shifting. I can sort of mask it by how I hold the throttle but hard to completely avoid. Occasionally when decelerating I hear a little backfire but not often. The engine runs great otherwise. Pulls, revs ETC with no problem and no backfire. I did a search but didn't see my exact problem. Could it be leaking injector(s) and should I rebuild the injectors with the kit from 3SX?
Thanks
Norm

Hasn't anyone had the same problem. Where should I start. I have the Antero diagnostic system with display but I don't know what to look for. I really am a carb/no electronics guy.
Thanks
Norm

I wouldn't worry about it if thats the only symptoms you're having. My car has backfired a little on shifts and decel(just a lil snap crackle pop tho), I've always assumed it was because I don't have any cats and premuffler has been removed. If you're shooting footlong flames through a completely stock exhaust then there might be an issue, otherwise it's just part of how the car runs as far as I know.
