Default NEW PRODUCT: Dry Sump System

Here it is, now available for purchase:

A/C Compatible:
Supercar Engineering

Non-A/C:
Supercar Engineering

This is a dry sump system for Mitsubishi 3000GT 6G-72 engines. It eliminates oil starvation issues. Additionally, it deaerates engine oil, keeps it at the right temperature, and creates vacuum in the engine sump to increase horsepower by improving the piston ring seal.

This product has been tested on my personal racecar for over a year. It has performed flawlessly during several track days and thousands of highway miles.

The system consists of:
- Three-Stage Dry Sump Oil Pump (Four-Stage Pump for A/C compatible system)
- 3.5-gallon Oil Tank
- Custom Oil pan
- Drive Belt
- Drive Sprockets
- Crank Sprocket Adapter
- Remote Oil Filter
- Oil Cooler
- Oil Thermostat
- AN Fittings
- AN Hoses
- Mounting hardware and brackets
- Modified engine-transmission bracket (A/C compatible system only)
- Modified left longitudinal subframe member (A/C compatible system only)

Note: This a custom project. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Philip

Got any pics of yours installed? Interested in seeing how this is installed and setup.

Why is it a 4 stage for those with a/c?

It's difficult to take good pics in those tight spaces. The A/C compatible setup is pictured. The non-A/C pump is mounted in the A/C compressor location.

The 4-stage setup is 3 suction sections (one section per cylinder pair) and 1 pressure section. This is for the A/C compatible setup, where the oil pan is shallow. The non-A/C oil pan is deep like stock, and needs only 2 suction sections.

Yeah one day I'll put a dry sump on my ride, and I would have to say that I would go with the non/AC one. Which mite be foolish on my end since I live in Houston, but an extra thousand sounds more foolish.
