Default 93 N/A Automatic transmission cooler lines help!

I recently noticed when changing my transmission oil cooler that it wasn't running through the radiator! I've done a lot of looking around and can't find any information on how it's originally supposed to be originally routed. Does any body have any pictures or info?

Also, looking from the front of the car, the bottom hose is out to the cooler and the top is the in from the cooler correct?

Default Re: 93 N/A Automatic transmission cooler lines help!

I don’t think it matters which line goes to either of cooler connections, since oil coolers will flow in either direction. There is no original routing thru oil cooler because lines where only connected to bottom of radiator for cooling from factory (no oil cooler supplied).

When I replaced transmission in my ’93, tried to flush bottom section (trans auto connections) of radiator. Could not get any flow, so I installed external oil cooler and abandoned the radiator connections. I suspect that’s what happened in your case also.
