84 chrysler laser turbo. bought it with 2 parts cars and still couldnt keep it running. Actually caught fire once. After the second motor threw a rod I gave it away... weeks later I found out the third motor had thrown a rod and the car was abandoned which led to a big impound bill for me

Oh goody, confession time, lol.
Very very first car I drove was this beasty of a big boy. My dad got it from a relative in Albaquerque, Uncle VL and yes that actually was his name lol, V-L.
One day we went to the grocery store and he kinda left the keys in it while he went in and I kinda took it around the parking lot, just once though.
Minty green color and a trunk you could smuggle a herd of shetland ponies in.

Best memories of it were night trips on Route 66 while I laid up in the back window watching the stars. Child saftey, Bah!!

What I actually learned to drive in was a 65 Mustang with a reversed floor shifter.

My first car was a yellow Galaxie 500 convertible.

Most fun dodge colt with the blue jean top.
most luxurious buick electra 225. cherry
lincoln continental mark, also cherry
best overall honda accord before they became a joke. almost cherry

Ahh, sadly those are not mine, all I have are memories and I tried to find something as close as I could get to share with everyone.

Big beautiful pink monster of a car, glad you like it.

My very first car was a 56 Chevy 6 cylinder stick. I had the car two years before my license so I had lots of time to pull the engine and install my first rebuilt engine. A mildly modified 283.

My favorite car was my second car, a 67 SS 396 Chevelle. Swapped in a modified 375 hp 396 built by Gary Brown racing engines in Chicago. I remember the engine bill was over 4 grand, lol.

You guys all make me feel young, and ashamed....

1st car was a 91 SI that I bought as a shell for a few hundred bucks.

had everything I needed including trans and ECU for B-Series Swap.

picked up a old Integra B18 Motor for like 500$ and dropped it in...was a fun car, only put about a grand in it all together and resold it for 3,000$.... Wasn't long before I got my first Mitsubishi which was a 1990 Eclipse 1.8L 4G37 SOHC. That was the first motor I rebuilt from the ground up. It was a good move, I had always loved Mitsubishi's

unfortunetly this is my only picture I can track down of it lol. I believe this was before the motor ever went in. I did not drive it much as I was only 15 at this time and didn't have my license until some time after I sold it and got the Eclipse.

leh Eclipse

was my real first baby, Loved that car.. I regret ever selling it... It popped up on craigslist a few years after I sold it and I regret not buying it back...I did go and drive it tho

First car was a 1983 Camaro Z-28. Worked all summer and saved up $1500 to buy it. Dad paid for the insurance. Bless his heart. Looked like someone had painted it with a brush so dad and I split the $900 for a paint job and I had it painted blue with smoke grey ground effects.

BEST car I ever owned was my 2000 Celica. This is an actual pic of her. Bought her for $8500 with 85K on her and sold her 3 years later for $6700 with 130K on her. She wasn't fast but I never put a single penny into her for maintenance...other than oil changes. I put the stripe on the hood and bought her new shoes. She was beautiful.
