Default Upper idler pulley

So I went to change out my upper idler pulley as there seems to be some slight noise coming from it when running. I picked up the durlast 231523 from autozone, but when I took the stock pulley out it was larger in diameter then this durlast replacement part. This can't be the right replacement part, it's close but just a bit too small in diameter. What are my options for a replacement pulley? Who has the correct one?

The part number you provided is listet for 3.0 dohc in autozone but aside from there, everywhere else it is either 3.0 sohc engine or 3.5l montero dohc. Not the 6g72 dohc your r/t has.

So that would explain the size difference and I wouldn't want to use it because it will getting the right tension impossible to difficult depending on the size.

Try Rockauto, the only place I got for my parts these days.
