Positive Thrust Clearance
I just removed my bearing plate to inspect and reassembled everything. I realized that I forgot to check thrust before putting the pan back on. Is it a valid test to whack the crank towards the transmission and then pry it back via the crank pulley with a dial gauge resting on the bolt? The manual and forums provide the specs for the maximum crank thrust. However, is there a minimum thrust spec? Thanks in advance for the advice...
