Clicking sound in dash after LED tail light install.
So, I had some tail light bulbs go out and figured it was time to switch to LED bulbs... Well I got some of the best reviewed ones available on Amazon and installed them. Installation was a snap, of course... They light up and work great (much brighter than normal filament bulb). My problem is, while the car is moving, there is a constant click or ticking sound coming from the dash every second or two. It almost sound like a quieter version of a blinker relay. The lights continue to operate just fine, but that sound is quite annoying and I'd like to figure out what the heck is causing it and get to a solution. The hard part is diagnosing it while driving. The sound goes away if the car is stopped... It only happens while in motion, which is strange. Maybe it's a brake-light relay? Again, everything operates perfectly normal other than this pesky sound and I've never heard it ever before.
Anyone have any ideas what this could be from?
It's a stock '93 VR-4.
