Default Blue Stealth TT getting 4G swap

As some of you know, I bought a clean Fiji blue 92 Stealth R/T TT shell not too long ago from a part out with the intention of saving the car. It is rust free, but the clear coat is garbage on the entire car, so it will be getting repainted.

I decided I wanted to make this car have what my favorite things were from several cars I've owned or driven. I currently switch up daily driving between my 2006 Eclipse GT and my 92 VR4. I've driven one Evo X and found some stuff I liked about it that would be nice to apply to this Stealth as well. I've already 4G swapped one of these cars and I've owned a few Eclipse GSTs and GSXs that I really enjoyed.

The car will be a Frankenstein car, but I'm building it for me and I want it to be a fun daily driver. I have already collected most of the parts and here is the plan!

- Stock 6 bolt 4G63 engine from a 1G GSX (low miles after previous owner rebuilt then parted out)
- Big 16G turbo
- Stock 1G AWD DSM auto transmission
- Forced four shift box with built in TCU
- Evo X steering wheel with paddle shifters (Outlander had this also, may get it from one of those)
- Front seats from a 2006-2012 Eclipse GT (with seat warmers)
- Premium audio speakers (Rockford Fosgate) from 4th gen Eclipse
- 96 Stealth super banana replica spoiler
- Ksport adjustable coilovers
- 3sx SS brake lines
- AWS delete
- ABS delete
- Keeping digital climate control WITH AC

I've always had a soft spot for blue 1G Stealths, so I jumped on this when Aaron parted it out and bought it mostly complete still. It was missing the drivetrain, gas tank, axles, wheels, and calipers. Thankfully I actually had most of what it was missing already and what I didn't have, I was able to acquire most of locally.

I learned a lot and heavily documented what issues I ran in to with 4G swapping my white VR4 and all of the tools I was missing the first time around are tools I have now. I also have a lot more space to work now that I bought a house!

My white 4G swapped VR4 still takes priority and is going back down this week to get the manual stuff removed for the auto swap. But once that is done, I'm going to start in on this blue Stealth. Pretty excited about it.

Very nice. Someday I'll commit to a 4g swap. All of my friends have Evos/Dsms, so I'll never pop my hood they'd get too big of heads.

Sub'd, looking forward to progress.

Thanks. I figure I'll get the car more up to date with more modern stuff and make it a fun car to drive all the time.

Well one thing changed already. It won't be a stock auto, I got ahold of a nice 1G DSM built auto over the weekend lol. Waiting for my converter and flex plate bolts to get here this weekend then I'll be bolting the engine to the transmission and dropping it in.

My only suggestion would be to do better coil overs than the Ksports. IMO these are wildly superior and the price increase isn't unbearable:

Jealous. I want to find and 4gswap a Fiji car. Doesn't matter if it's an RT or any variety of 3000gt, but I think I'd steer clear of a base/es stealth, even though an es was my first 3s ever.

Bought a 90 Talon which caused this build to kind of fizzle out. Too many cars, not enough time. I'm parting out this Stealth now. RIP.
