Edit: Also Pennzoil Synchromesh OR Quaker State Synchromesh
I just want to start a thread about gm synchromesh which is more specific. I hope everybody who has the gm synch to post the ff: condition of tranny shifting prior and after the fluid is put in, and also the miles after changing the fluid.
The point of this thread is to know the long term effects of not just a couple of cars but ALL cars that are using this fluid, relative to mileage(starting from fluid change to present).
Edit: Also another point is the effectivity, and protection during hard driving conditions like drag racing/streetracing, autox, roadcourse, etc.
I'll start it.

BEFORE: when i first drove the car before buying, I can feel the shifting is solid although harder to shift but definitely no grinding.
AFTER: right after gm synchro was put in, I didn't feel the difference, even after a few days. Then i went to the track and ran it 2x, on the way home, I can feel the difference, shifts easier. As the mileage goes up, the gear shifting feels as smooth like my old vr4(but couldn't shift if higher than 4500rpms on vr4), and is still PERFECT. Went back to track 2 more times(total of 6 runs only).
MILEAGE: 7000 miles(59k to 66k)
DRIVING CONDITIONS: 12 runs avg per yr, and daily driver.

I'm attaching a comparison pic of an unused gm synch oil and a 10k miles one from my car.
Edit(3/31/05) Here's a quick link to the pages where oil analysis results were posted within this thread, latest on the bottom:
