It was out of commission for 3 months recently. The clutch went out and when I pulled the trans, I saw the output shaft was shot, along with the input sleeve of the TC. Rebuilt the TC and decided to upgrade the trans with a Quaife front diff and SCE Torsen center diff(300M OS shaft this time). Replaced 1, 2, 3 gear syncros while I was there. I replaced the OS 6 years ago, but this is the first time I dismantled the input/inter shafts. Believe me, I was a nervous puppy on that first test drive.

Looks like 3 months of sitting took its tole on the AC. Nothing but warm air. I brought a vacuum pump home from work but now need to find some AC hoses to connect it.

I'll be looking for the Tacoma. Let me know if I can help ya with the VR4. Your new waiting room looks good!

Yeap, Still there. I have the silver tacoma with a black front grill guard as my daily driver. I sold my orange 3000gt and the black one I had momentarily). I now have a red with silver stripes 92' VR-4 FINALLY! haha. I'm just getting it up and running and trying to decide what direction I want to go with it. How's the Stealth treating you?
