That's funny. Still laughing. The engine bay would look like it had a bunch of filling. LOL.
By the way, I am going to the TX gathering. No NA though. Just a supercharged Miata to play with. Best I could do for now. It will be ridding on the back of duttch's trailer behind the Spyder.

That sounds like fun! So, if you really want to make people's jaws drop, bring the Miata to the NG next year and run it in the autocross. Bet it would beat every 3S out there. But, instead of using trailer space, couldnt 4-5 of us pick up the miata and put it in the bed of the truck?

It's not about the bling or the shine. It's about bringing the car back to or better then new condition. The Devil is in the details they say. And this car will be so detailed it will be devilishly beautifull. I can not make lite of the work though. This is nuts. I have not even done this to my own car. Maybe next year. Most of you have pulled motors and gone as far as painting your engine bays. I do my best just to take it a little farther. That all.

I was going to guess acid bath and conversion coat.

Looks like I was pretty close

Chromate conversion coating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Great job!!!
