I tried to pull them down through the center vents or climate control or stereo areas. I never really made it past the center vents so I just broke the thin part of the dash that runs below the center vents and above the climate control. Like I said, they were parts cars so I didn't really care. Lol.

Don't sweat the dash. It's pretty simple. Hardest part for me was dropping the steering column.

All of the interior is back in aside from 2 panels in the trunk and the door panels. The sub and amp are not in but the factory and new speakers were tested today and they sound INCREDIBLE!!! Not a show stopper but they sound better than anything I've ever had except not a lot of low end, but plenty loud! Got my new coils and rebuilt TB installed and car is purring like a kittie! More updates tomorrow!

New door panels going in this morning before I go to the Dojo.

And BTW, anyone thinking of doing what I did for the dash speakers....DO IT! They are by far the best part of the new set up. They are PERFECT! highs are so clear and no clipping and not "screechy" like the tweeters I did in my 93 years ago. I could not be happier with that part.

36 sq/ft of Dynamat Xtreme ordered and on the way to do the hatch lid, hatch area back and side and the doors. Also ordered a set of smaller bass blockers for the door speakers. I am so impressed with the dash ones that I decided to get the size appropriate ones for the doors. I can't do them on the rears because that is sending signal to the sub. I will post pics as soon as I get it in and started.

Dynamat Extreme and 150hz bass blockers for the doors came in. Going to work on it today. Will post pics soon. Oh, and my 7th stock radio, hope this one is the one that will work.....7th! (2 ended up being parts crap, 2 were 2nd gen, my original is the CD player one, one has a speaker connection problem so needs rebuilding, and then my digital one....green lights, no like, no manual EQ setting so had to go)

LOL! I think you sold me the first one. It's a gen 1 but something is wrong with the rear board so no sound come out of it unless you torque on the connector. That one has been apart twice and has new buttons and EQ sliders out of 2 parts units. If this one works I'm pulling the rear board off of it and installing it in the one you sold me.

Did you have your doors redone? Are those new to you or actually new? Mine haven't started bubbling yet, but most of them out there have.
