Good job I have a lot of road noise and I'd like to do that and put down Dynamat. It just sucks my VR-4 is my DD. I'd probably never have the time to do it

Those speakers look brand new! LOL.....Every stock speaker ive pulled out of these cars look like that. Amazing they even play a tune. What speakers did you go with? are you doing the small ones on top of dash?

As far as the dynamat goes, do they sell in model specific kits? Or does it come in a roll and you cut to fit? Id like to see a pic when you get it dynamated. Mine is currently tore down like that also because Im in the middle of a full T AWD conversion. So I had to cut out rear fender wells and reweld in the TT ones. I spent allot of time sitting in the rear of the trunk. Like 5 million spot weld. Anyone ever attempted this knows what im talking about. LOL But I love these kinda projects and working on the gt. Some hate it, guess I might too if it was my DD and I was always stressed to fix it in time. On the dynamat, do you leave the old stock rubber/tar sheets in place and go over them? Some of that stuff caught on fire while welding and I had to grind off allot so I could keep welding without an inferno in the car.

Lol. I may have to take you up on that offer. Let me know how much of a difference the Dynamat makes.

I am on a thread called "help me choose replacement speakers". But the long and short. I refuse at this time to run an aftermarket head unit, want to look totally stock. I replaced my dash speakers with larger 8 watt 8 ohm mid range speakers with 800hz bass blockers. Got a set of 6X9 and 6 1/4 Sosche HD three ways. and am installing a seal box in the back with an Infinity Kappa 120.9w sub run by an Infinity Reference 1300a, cap and signal brought in by an MTX re-Q and a 1.2 farad cap. Running a 4 gauge Rockford Fosgate amp wire kit (running all of it so if I change my mind and want an after market head all the wiring is already there). I have 46 sq/ft of Dynamat ultimate. I hope it is enough but might not be. It comes in sheets and you have to cut it to fit, peal the backer and stick it on with a heat gun and a wood roller. All the factory pieces stuck in the interior will just be gone over with the Dynamat.

Where did you get the dynamat from? How expensive was 46sqf? So you are planning on covering from inside of firewall and all the way to rear gate? Or just up to the back seat?
