Damn. Powdercoating costs a bit more than I thought it would. She's really looking for something black or black/polished to go with the theme of the car. Great looking setup at a great price John, you should have no problem selling them.

We'll get back to you if things change!

I was running 1st gen brakes on my '95.

But yes, they should have fit 2nd gen TT brakes just fine.

Sorry to revive this but if you have 40 profile on a 17" rim (stock for vr4s is 45/17, 40/18 i believe) Do you reset the speedometer? Yes/no? If so how does that work?

Your profile is based on a percentage of the tire width and is not a constant.

So where the tires on my old wheels were a 40 profile instead of a 45 that a because they were mounted on 17" X 9" wheels instead of 17" X 8".

This is done to ensure that you always keep the same full diameter of your wheel and tire the same since your speedometer is based on that.

If you were to change your overall diameter due to using the wrong size tire, then yes you would have to find a way to recalibrate your speedometer. But I have no idea how to do that and in the end it would be easier to buy the correct size tire.

So 40 profile would be correct on a 17x9?
