I was planning on maybe going August 8th. Don't think I'll be ready by this Fiday. Looks like the transfer case I got is leaking. Not sure if I can get the dealer to fix it since it's not the one that came on the car. Other than that still need to change out the rear struts and springs. Oh yea and it needs a few banjo bolts. lol. Then I can start playing with that new SAfCII.

Damnit, cant you wait till I have time to fix at least ONE of my damn broken cars?!?!?!?! Even if I get the Conquest running again by friday, I wont push it until I feel comfortable that all the new gaskets and what not are properly seated. And I'm sure as hell not putting the "big" turbo on it just yet, so a run on the stock turbo on stock boost would probably net a high 15 in the 1/4. ~sigh~ Whatever, I'll probably tag along with someone just to go before I leave out of town again on Sunday. I just seriously doubt I'll have anything ready to race by then.

Yeah well, going to watch is just a tease. Its like damn, I can smell the burning rubber and the VHT and the track is just begging me to run. It brings out the inner bench racer in the spectators "Oh my car could beat that!" and "What a slow POS." When really our cars are sitting in a garage broken are are not faster than ANYTHING. If I were to drive to the track, I would probably run my truck down the track just because I dont like going without racing; even though 2-3 cars could line up and make a pass down the strip before my truck could make it to the 1320 just once. Sure I'll go to socialize and hang out with all who go, it will just be eating away at me inside that I now have TWO possible options for racing and both are broke....... But I'm not disgruntled in any way.

I won't be around today, but will be working from home tomorrow (Wednesday). So pretty much anytime then will be fine, if that works for you.

I'd be down, but driving sixty miles each way to go drag racing a car that I'm preparing to sell sounds counter-productive.
