I went to the ricekiller meet today. Finally got the car down to just needing the California duster. It was so nice, my car all clean and shiney all those vettes, vipers and even a Ferrari. The cool thing, some times unique is apparently nicer than even really nice. I mean I was really feeling good about my new graduate to garage queen. Anyway, so I get home the ex comes over to trade phones with my son and tells me the Jag isn't running right. So to make a long story short, she leaves in my, please don't hit any water puddles VR4 and I have a Jag stuck at autozone needing a new fuel pump. At least I think its the fuel pump. Sheesh.
Oh and just so we can all feel better about our cars. Jag dealerships want 1000 bucks to change it. Now if I just knew where that fuel pump was......

Back in Corpus. When i switched planes in Houston, it felt great getting off the plane. Getting off the plane in Corpus it was humid as hell. Ugh...
Oh, and they lost my bag. Of course its the one time I put my meds, my irreplaceable leather jacker, along with a bunch of birthday gifts I received while home. Cross your fingers it magically shows up.
Seriously, with the 'tight' standards and practices of the TSA and what not, how do they lose a bag?!? None of my flights were close together, at least a 2 hour delay between flights.
And I thought the flight couldn't leave if luggage was unaccounted for. I mean, if for some reason, you miss a flight, they will hold the plane to go through ALL the luggage to remove your bag, cause its gotta follow you, not the ultimate destination. I know this cause I tried getting on an earlier flight today...
Frustrating...
On the sunny side, I went to IHOP and messed with the rookie server. He took my order which was an omlette. He writes it down, looks up and asks "how do you want your eggs". I said, its an omlette and unless IHOP has figured out how to poach it or make 'em sunny side up, I'll take it omletted. lmao
That and I have nothing but free time to stalk the forums again. Well, stalk isn't really accurate. Duttch stalks, I kinda hang out...

I flew to San Antonio a couple weeks ago for a meeting. I haven't checked a bag in probably 10 years. This last trip my brother asked me to take a bag for him so he wouldn't have to pay the $75 extra bag fee. Of course they lost it. When i got off the plane in SA they left it on the plane and it went to Las Vegas. I got a call the next day, went and picked it up and they gave me a $50 voucher for my time/inconvenience. This was Southwest Airlines.
