Yeah, i know. Still didn't get my questioned answered tho. I had thought of making something for group buys to bring in some extra cash on the side. What, i don't know. I'd thought about doing custom vinyl sticker kits. Pretty much whatever you want kinda thing.

I think oohnoo might have scewed up when he started his last give away on harmonic balancer tool. Something about trying to drum up more business. Probably put him on the otherside of the fence with actually doing business on 3si in which case they have a right to a share of those profits.

I agree to an extent. But how many of those people bought from him before or after the give away? I know I entered as did lots of other people.
I guess my issue is how can they decide who is a business and who isn't?
How many group buys are the same thing, over and over, carpet or 3rd gen lifters or trunk battery kits or motor mounts? If they are going to enforce this, then they need more explicit rules/directions on this, because the answer they gave me sounds like a government round about.
Its their site and they make the rules. however we assist in paying for this site and if we are going to be held to a standard, there should first BE a standard.
While I don't know what the fees are to be a vendor and I don't know how many products he sells per year, I think its only fair that they decide what makes a business.
Even PayPal doesn't call you a business unless you trade $250 or $300 a month. They see theres a diff between some spare change and a living, to an extent. I just hate the no answer, shut down thread, he knows what we're talking about, threaten to suspend crap.
Somedays I wish I had the money and the knowhow to develop my own website. And the tolerance to deal with people like me, lol
