Anyone from the Houston or SETX area that wants to help out a fellow 3/S'er??
I apparently have some reletively serious issues with my car. IDK if anyone in here saw my thread about my 1/4mi experience but I ran a 15.55@91.7mph. I did F'up the launch but people still think that I may have some serious problems. That, on top of getting eaten by a lightly modded 2006 Volvo S40 T5 on the highway, is an indicator to some that I have problems.
I do have a 3sx boost leak tester but only have a bike pump, wich apparently is not adequate to fill up the system. I have an autometer boost guage that shows me maxing out at 11psi but it is short lived in the lower gears. I sink down to 5 in first, 7-8 in second and 9-10 in third all BEFORE 5000rpm. To me, the car feels normal and powerful but as I have no experience with these, IDK what normal is.
I am new to these cars and am looking to more experienced people for help. There will be free beer and something to monetarily compensate you for your time and efforts if you come to me. I am willing to travel to Houston if need be.
