13T Build Questions/Opinions

So not too long ago, I purchased a pair of Rob Beck 13Ts from John (J-Groove), and since college is basically over for the semester, I now have time to get all my money together and begin buying parts for the supporting mods.

Before everyone tells me that I need DR-1000 turbos with dual-pumps, I am only using my car for daily driving, with the 13Ts replacing my old 9bs and being able to enjoy a quicker car. (My gas pedal has never touched the floor).

I need recommendations or links for non-expensive, but quality parts because I dont want to be replacing cheap parts.

For a 500ish hp, daily driver, what injectors, boost controller, FMIC, fuel pump, other mods do you all recommend? I've been around 3000GTs a lot, but I just am not too familiar with the upgrading side of it. How much am I looking to spend for a conservative, but effective 13T build?

For 500hp on 13t's, you're going to need to run E85 or spray meth.

My suggestions for a 13T build:
550cc injectors
Hotwired Walbro 255
IPO MBC
CX FMIC
MAFT
SAFCII
Upgraded Clutch

Same I said on the FB page, and very similar to what MB posted, just a new way of doing the same thing.

Go for:
560cc EVO injectors
Walbro 255, or Supra, or Aeromotive
FMIC
Upgraded clutch
Montero/Evo MAF
EVO MAP sensor
Flash ECU w/ Chrome V2

Chrome V2 and the flash ECU will take care of your boost, timing, fuel control and hotwire needs.

But, yeah you're not going to hit 500 on 13Ts without E85. For that you will need to go 19T.

I just assume everyone has a downpipe + gutted precats, as well as an open filter as part of the BPU stage.

I know this gets said a lot, but just as a reminder... 60k/120k tuneup + make sure motor mounts are good.

The two lists above are great though, have nothing to add to them.

Oh yeah, WB02 and Datalogger. Or you can go with BlackStealth's LCD Boost Controller w/ MAC boost solenoid over the manual boost controller, which monitors knock and other things.
